I thought I'd do this post to find out what your worst beauty or fashion cringe is! I have a few but I'll share today's unfortunate event - On my way to school, I noticed I had a huge hole in my tights and lots of ladders...*awkward much!?* So my Mom and I popped to a shop to get me another pair to wear on top. You'll never guess what we bought instead?? KNEE HIGH SOCKS!! How annoying? ;P :) Share yours below!?

Tuesday, 26 April 2011
eXcItInG nEwS tO tElL aLl oF mY fOlLoWeRs!
Well I probably haven't mentioned this before but I love GLEE, and as of next week Monday, I'm going to be doing something a little different. I'm going to do a 'GLEE GIRLS - GET THE LOOK!' Which basically means I'm going to recreate the outfits that Quinn, Mercedes, Rachel, Sam and maybe even Santana (grrrr!) are seen wearing on the show for you to try out yourself! I'm actually quite excited and can't wait to watch the episodes to see what they're wearing :) Every show will be a project for me which I'm looking forward to ;D What do you think? Will you be checking back every Monday for your dose of Glee-fits? Lemme know down below :) <3

New Look, Tammy @ BHS and Sports World Haul!
As promised, I have a picture of everything I bought yesterday! What do you think? Comment below? :)

Top 3 Beauty Essentials For School
1) Vasaline - prevents chapped lips throughout the day and gives a natural look rather than sheets of makeup.
2) Packet of tissues - for makeup blunders or the unexpected 'sneeze'.
3) A couple of hair bands/bobbles - just in case you need to tie your hair back in Physical Ed or want a new look :)
Three simple things that are just ESSENTIAL for school! Once you have these, you're set for a glamourous day! :)

TOPIC OF THE WEEK: Peer Pressure - 'I wear makeup because...'
Well, we all know that school is one of the places that puts us under the most pressure. Theres the stresses of bullying, exams but the biggest stress is peer pressure. Feeling you have to fit into a certain crowd otherwise people won't like you or will judge you. That's not how it should be. For this weeks topic, I'd like to find out why you wear makeup. Is it to fit in OR because you genuinely want to? Comment below/tweet me your opinions :)

Lip Balm gets you through the day!
It was my first day back at school today, wahoo (!), and I'm glad to say it was the most rubbish day ever. Luckily though, I had my shea butter lip balm on me. Not that it made any difference to my day but what I'm basically trying to say is - ALWAYS BRING A BALM TO SCHOOL, especially on a cold day as the weather in England atm isn't particularly great :D

I got my second Teen Vogue yesterday!
I forgot to mention but yesterday I popped into WHSmith and got a copy of Teen Vogue. It's my second one as I tend to read things like Bliss and I used to read Sugar. The magazine was a good read and I still haven't read everything as it is a 'wordy' kinda read. I tend to read the bits that intetest me and go back to the other parts only to theb find they interest me as well!?! I have got a massive collection of magazines from years ago and the pile is not far from my knees! ;)

NB - If you want a copy of Teen Vogue, its available from WHSmith at £2.50!
10 Things I absolutely COULD NOT live without
I thought that I'd let you guys know a bit more about me and things that I couldn't live without :) Enjoy!
1) My HTC Smartphone - I love my phone! It always freezes and blackouts when its not in the mood but is my loyal companion x'D
2) The internet - Say no more??
3) My family and friends - So many significant people in my life at the moment but only a few of them are important to me. I'm not one to keep clumps of friends from here, there and all over the place - my trues are my ones.
4) Shoes - I love clothes but shoes make the outfit complete! I mean, you can't go out without footwear!
5) Shopping - If I had an unlimited supply of cash I'd splash out and buy all of my favourite things. I could spend hours deliberating over what and what not to buy.
6) Facebook - Facebook is the face of the future, I can already see it. I need a break off it though :@
7) Waterloo Road - Favourite TV show and then comes Glee! I've only just got back into Glee in the second series :)
8) Vasaline - I don't like having dry lips so a lip balm is vital all though I don't always carry one :P
9) Earrings - I feel bare without earrings and I have double holes on each ear although one closed up :/
10) DAVID AND GOLIATH! - My favourite cute american kinda pop arty, funny store. I HEART IT! I have a like developing D&G collection, I'll upload it probably some time :)

BANK is officially my favourite store EVER!
Today was a great day to be honest! I went to a shopping park and popped into all the stores - Debenhams, Republic and then I came across BANK! OMIGOSH, IT WAS Ahhhhhhhhhhh-mAzInG with a capital A! I saw some Converse Double Tongue in Baby blue and Baby pink and some VANS! Wow, I love that shop :) It's a bit pricey though ;L I mean, I can afford the things but I'm not sure if I'd buy shoes for £50 >.< So I'm going to wait for Summer and then hit the sales! ^.^ Check out Bank's Website: www.bankfashion.co.uk

Ways to Wear: Skinny Jeans
Hi Guys, So today I thought I'd do a little post on how to wear skinnies. I'll do three ways in which to wear this effortless piece of clothing!
Chic Look:
- Pair your skinny jeans with a loose smock and big jewellery. Add a classy pair of kitten heels for a more sophisticated look.
Rocker Look:
- For a funky rocker girl look, a leatherette jacket and white tshirt kitted out with lots of badges and iron-ons. Shoe wise, BRIGHT CONVERSE do the trick!
Laid-back look:
- A nice floral knee length dress and gladiator sandals or flip-flols are a perfect look. Team with a short denim jacket for a lovely festival-esque look and a nice piece of beaded jewellery.
So guys, thats it for now - thanks for reading! What else would you like to see for 'Ways to Wear'? Tweet me! @lilbeautybible

How to have Confidence in 3 Simple Steps
Confidence is key. It makes people beautiful <33 But what do you need to get this thing called 'confidence'?
Step 1 - Be talkative -
Don't sit shy and pull away from possible new friends, engage in a convo. Great convo starters can begin even by saying to somebody that you like their shoes!
Step 2 - Be Well Presented -
We all feel better wearing out best clothes and made up as it brings out the best in us however, makeup isnt always key but can play a part in your confidence skills.
Step 3 - Try new things
You would be surprised how trying new activities can really boost your confidence! As well as allow you to meet new friends at the same time and uncover secret talents :D
It's not ONLY popular top-end products that work best!
I have decided to pick two of my most loved make up products for this post. They are amazing and really make a B I G difference. None of them however are big time brands like MAC or Ruby and Millie. These are actually easy to pick up from high street stores. In fact, I got mine from Boots and Store 21! Don’t fork out loadsa money for more expensive, branded product when you can just pop to your local cosmetics shop and grab a bargain!
Where I got the above from:
- Eyeshadow Pallet: Store 21, £3
- Fearne Cotton Mascara: Boots (don’t know the price as this was given as a gift)
DIY Makeup Remover
DIY Make Up Remover
Who says you need to buy expensive make up remover when you can do it the cheaper way? YOURSELF!
Everything used to make your own make up remover should be/can found around the house:
What You Will Need:
- A mild facial wash gel
-1 Cotton bud
-A small container of cold water
-2 tissues
Method -
1) Take your water and add in two dollops of facial wash. Using the cotton bud, swill the water around until the gel is completely mixed in.
2) Scrunch one of your tissues into a ball and dip it into the liquid. Wipe over the area which is made up and notice the results! (Be sensitive to eyes and mouth)
3) Oh yes, and remember to dry your whole face with your second tissue!
Did this handy DIY tip help you? Email me at autumndennisstephens@yahoo.co.uk to share your experience or tweet me @lilbeautybible :D
Nb - This method works particularly well when removing mascara (:
Product Review: Garnier Pure Extra Strength SOS Pen
What is it?
A simple spot buster by Garnier.
Good Points:
-It is easy to apply.
-Convenient to carry around with you.
-If it tingles, you know it’s working.
Bad Points:
-It doesn’t always help to ‘kill’ spots.
-Sometimes it makes spots10x worse.
-It runs out easily.
IN MY OPINION?
Its a good product and I found that the first time I used it, it worked wonders… But now, since I’ve started using it again more recently - it makes my spots multiply which is NOT a good look :$ I do suggest getting this item however because I guess its effect varies on each skin type <3
DIY Facial Wash + Cleansing Routine
I came across this little wonder yesterday when I was up in my room :D This facial wash really purifies the skin and helps it to feel fresh and alive afterwards. If you do this method regularly, you're on the road to A-List skin!
What You Will Need:
- Palmers Cocoa Butter Formula
- Coconunt Shell Face Scrub
- A small container of water
- A Flannel
Method:
1) Begin by washing your hands. It is always important to have clean hands before working on your skin as germs are easily spread.
2) Once you have washed your hands, take your Scrub and squeeze 3-4 drops into the water. Mix it around with your fingers until partially dissolved.
3) Now, take your Cocoa butter and add 2 large dollops. Your facial wash won't look very nice at the moment but works wonders on your skin!
4) Finally once applied, flush your face with the wash and DONT ADD WATER otherwise you will lose the goodness.
Cleansing Routine:
- Apply onto the face morning and night.
- There are two ways of applying; Flushing or Using Cotton wool balls to really get down into your pores. Both methods are brilliant.
- Put a good moisturizing cream on once you have cleansed your face to lock in all the moisture :)
I hope this method helps you with your skin! Leave your experiences below in the comment section ;)
